Two full doubles, stacked, with a staircase between them — the Namche sleeps four adults in the footprint of one bed.
That is an unusual thing to be able to say. For a Calgary basement guest room, a lake cabin, or a household where cousins descend at Christmas, it solves a problem no sofa bed can. Both levels carry 400 lbs, so neither bunk is the compromise one.
The staircase is reversible for either side of the room and carries storage shelves down its outer face. Solid wood and wood veneers in espresso, mattress support included. Drawers and a trundle available separately.

Never use abrasive or solvent cleaners on the finish
Keep away from direct sunlight, radiators and heat vents
Re-tighten all bolts and fixings every few months — this is the single most important maintenance step on any bunk bed
Check the guardrails and staircase fixings at the same time
